Richard Simmons' puzzling vanishing from public life gets placed under the magnifying lens in another narrative that expects to figure out what the wellness symbol has been doing since he was most recently seen quite a while back.
"TMZ Investigates: What Really Happened to Richard Simmons," which airs Monday August 22, addressed the individuals who have known Simmons and uncovers that he might not have vanished as totally as some have suspected.
"We figured out he enjoys going to the ocean side, he'll go out to shop," TMZ pioneer Harvey Levin expressed as of late while advancing the narrative. "There has not been a solitary paparazzi organization… that has gotten anything of Richard Simmons out in the open in over eight years."
"We have replies - we realize what befell Richard Simmons, where he is and what he does," Levin proceeded. "There are two major things and likely possibly one might have caused this, one more than the other. Yet, a ton of them we show are simply outrageous, even thought they have a ton of oxygen."
Individual wellness symbol Suzanne Somers, who was among those talked with for the TMZ narrative, imparted her last experience to Simmons before he pulled back from the spotlight.
"One night I was on the Larry King Show and he was either going to be a visitor or expected to be a visitor, and I heard through the Larry King individuals that he would have rather not been on the show with me," Somers said in a clasp from the doc imparted to PEOPLE.
"I said, 'Why?' and he said, 'She'll ridicule me.' And that is not my style, I never ridicule anyone. However, that is the point at which I understood a little frailty has gotten in there," she added. "I preferred him. I was generally so astonished when he thought I'd ridicule him. In any case, doesn't that show you he has a grief? Something's wrecked inside since he got it done. He had it and afterward let it go."
Paranoid ideas about Simmons have gone crazy lately. He made an announcement in 2017 after fans communicated worry about his prosperity. Simmons said he was "not missing" and expressed gratitude toward his fans. "Simply realizing you care has previously cheered me up," he said. "Desire to see you again soon!"
